What is Value Investing? Part 5

The second criteria is a synergy between the management & political influence. A company with the best management team will fall if the current government policy hinders the core business operation. NEP policy towards certain industries must be given great attention. To stay updated with the economy news, get different views from the local media, which are controlled by the government & oppositions’ sources.Relying on one source is an act of a fool.By analysing different views from both sources,a better investment decision can be made.

A company’s business operation is largely affected by the change in the government policy and law.For example,if the price of a product/service is tagged by the law, then the company can only increase its net profit by reducing the expenses, increase efficiency or ….(continue)

    Hi,

I think all bloggers who are patriotic Malaysian should highlight the discrminative policy of Mayban (and AmBank).

Maybe all right thinking Malaysian should be asked to seriously consider whether they want to continue banking with such a Bank.
Should we not make out voices heard loud and clear. Should we not seriously consider withdrawing all our monies from Mayban (and AmBank), cut their credit cards into two and returned to them, turn down all their offer of banking facilities and switch our banking facilities to banks which do not practise discriminative policies? Should we not deliver this strong message to Mayban (and AmBank) in such a loud voice to be heard also by others who are practising or intend to practise discriminative policies – so they will stop such disgusting policies?

Think about it and let all of us who belong to the group of right thinking Malaysian highlight and create an action group to fight discriminative policies being practice by any parties.

    Consider pls!!!!!

I personally think that investors should be knowledgable before any changes in our policies can be made. Most of the changes will only be proposed if investors start to make noices. Is there any Association for Investors to uphold their rights? How many of us attended public meetings held by the companies which they have invested?
Have you seen how politicians conduct ‘meetings’ in Parlimen? This topic i leave for other bloggers.By the way, search for video in Youtube to learn more.
My point is education is the way to improve the situation in M’sia.Have you registered as a voter.Go to any branch of Pos Malaysia and show them your MYKAD.That’s all to register as a voter.Remember that choices today makes tomorrow. What you see today is because what you chose yesterday.Without prejudice!
